What Is the Paris Glow Treatment?

Paris Glow is a mesotherapy-type treatment that aims to bring radiance and hydration to the skin. Ingredients aimed at your skin’s needs are delivered in small amounts, with very fine needles, to the superficial layers of the skin.

The focus of the treatment is not to change facial contours but to support the skin’s moisture balance and brightness. The ingredients of the product used and the details of the treatment are explained to you at the consultation.

In mesotherapy-type treatments, the aim is to provide direct support to layers that are hard to reach from the surface with creams. With this same principle, Paris Glow aims to help the skin look more hydrated, fresh and luminous. The effect differs depending on skin type and is usually assessed as sessions progress.

Because this treatment is quick and short, it is also often considered by people with busy lives who cannot set aside time for a long recovery.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • People whose skin looks dull, lifeless or dehydrated
  • Those whose skin looks tired during seasonal changes, busy periods or times of poor sleep
  • Those who want to support the freshness of their skin before a special occasion
  • Those who want to complement their skincare with a light, short treatment

Marked sagging, deep wrinkles or volume loss are not the target of this treatment; for such needs, other methods are considered. In skin prone to pigmentation, the cause of the pigmentation is investigated first.

How Is the Treatment Done?

  1. At the consultation, your skin type and expectations are assessed, and whether the treatment is suitable for you is discussed.
  2. The skin is cleansed, prepared with an antiseptic, and numbing cream may be applied for comfort.
  3. The product is applied as superficial microinjections with fine needles or a special applicator.
  4. At the end of the procedure the skin is soothed and care recommendations are shared.

The procedure usually takes 20–30 minutes. You may feel a mild stinging sensation during the treatment; numbing cream helps reduce this feeling.

What to Pay Attention to Afterward

  • It is recommended that you avoid makeup and touching your face for the first 12–24 hours.
  • Stay away from saunas, steam baths, swimming pools and intense exercise on the first day.
  • Pause peels and acid-containing products for a few days.
  • Using sunscreen regularly helps the skin maintain its radiance.
  • Drinking plenty of water and moisturizing your skin regularly are part of aftercare.

Possible Side Effects and Who Should Not Have It

Mild redness, small bumps, swelling or bruising may appear at the injection points; these usually go away within a short time. Rarely, an allergic reaction to an ingredient or an infection may develop.

It is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, if there is an active infection, cold sore or open wound in the treatment area, in cases of known allergy to the ingredients, or in bleeding disorders. It is important to mention the medications you use at the consultation.

If there are signs that suggest infection, such as increasing pain, warmth or discharge, you should contact your physician.

Dr. Fulya Koç’s Approach

According to Dr. Fulya Koç, the radiance of the skin cannot be separated from basic habits such as good sleep, balanced nutrition, adequate fluid intake and sun protection. The Paris Glow treatment is also considered a supportive step added on top of this foundation.

At the Ataşehir clinic, the session plan is made according to your skin’s needs at that time; the aim is to support a more rested and fresh look without changing your expression.

Sometimes the reason skin loses its radiance is lack of sleep, stress or nutrition. In that case, it can make more sense to focus not only on the treatment but also on these causes; these topics are discussed together at the consultation.
